Girls day out

One of the best things to do is meet up with friends for a good old fashioned girls day out – it’s our right as females!

There’s nothing better than getting all dressed up and meeting up with good friends, be they old or new. Personally, we think it’s even better with a cocktail in one hand and good food in the other! That’s why last weekend saw us getting our gladrags on for lunch and cocktails in Glasgow.

Of course, when meeting up with friends everyone always wants to look their best, especially if it’s a friend you haven’t seen in a while. There is a delicate balance to dressing up while not appearing to have made much of an effort at all, try too hard and it will look like you’ve spent hours in front of the mirror and your whole wardrobe is now strewn all over your room (us? messy? never!), but make too little effort and you risk looking like you’ve just tumbled out of bed – and we for one definitely cannot pull off the bed-head look!
